Do the same with the cover in the closed position. If still there, have someone sit in the back seat and maybe hold the seatbelt pivot at the pillars. If that fails, try some foam padding between the seats and the seat backs where they meet at the anchoring points.

I've found that the cover, where it meets the seatback, has a tendency to move a little. Make sure that it has clicked all the way back against the seat also. Hopefully you should be able to isolate the noise and make an appointment with your service dept pinpointing the exact location.

Another source of noise is the leather seats rubbing against each other. Lightly sprinkle some baby powder between them which should eliminate that noise. Let me know if any of these work b/c your's is a F.A.Q.

yes, i know this was posted before, but I had trouble finding an adequate solution in the archives. What's the cause of the rattles in the back if it isn't the trunk lid?
