Bought a 3.0 X5 for my wife. Dealer wanted $1500 to install a 2 inch tow hitch. We tow a few light items...motor cycle, jet ski, bikes. Is there an after market 2 inch tow hitch which fits behind the neat plastic cover for a reasonable price. I'm handy with tools so I would be the installer. Thanks in advance.


Do not get after market. Max price from the dealer is 1200.00 canadian funds.
They replace so many parts including struts for the bumper and the full steel bumper liner.
Only go original equipment. If you could afford
the car then you can afford the proper hitch!!
