All reports I've heard have put luggage space at 16 cubic inches. Also, what do you mean by "corrected"? Do you actually think that BMW is going to change the body size/configuration after 2 years?

But sarcasm aside, I have read on Motor Trend's web site or a similar web site that BMW will be releasing an X5iL as well as an X7. It seems reasonable that these are just two names for the same SAV, but that people don't know if BMW will approach the extra length from the 5-series or from the 7-series. I would assume that the next SAV will be one built on the upcoming 7-series platform, but I don't know what they'll name it. If you are looking for more cargo space, you might want to check out Mercedes' halfway-point revision of the ML. They are adding a more potent V8 engine, changing the front and rear fascias, and completely changing the notoriously ugly interior dash layout. I expect the new Ml to be a much better competitor to the X5.
