Ever considered the Pearl Beige metallic? I saw it at the STL auto show and fell in love with it. Silver is too common for my tastes also and while I love black, that is one big old vehicle to keep the swirl marks and dirt off.

Of course, it boils down to personal preference..they are all nice. I had silver before (323Ci) and wanted a different color.

I own a silver car right now and I had a tan/gold before that, but I've always preferred a black exterior and I'm looking for a change. I'd like to have a Jet Black X5, but I'm afraid that it will recieve a lot of scratches and paint chips, is that true? I know that the black will be much more of a hassle to keep clean, but the X is worth the trouble. Plus every X5 on the road appears to be Silver (at least here on the East Coast). What are some of your opinions?
