I'm not sure your dealer did you any favors here. The 7000 has been discontinued and has been replaced by the forthcoming CPT 8000. But more importantly, as a result of it being a dual-mode vs a tri-mode phone, you will not be able to take advantage of any "One Rate" or "National Rate" plans offered by the major carriers, and therefore be forced to pay roaming and long distance charges out the wazoo when making other than local calls.
