The rear side curtains are shades that pull up out of the top of the rear door panel to the top of the door, where they clip. There are two on each door. One for the main window, and another smaller one for the little "vent" window. The are nicely designed, but the clips that hold the screens up are very cheap, and can fall off or are easily damaged (I guess so they break off in a collision for safety reasons).
