i frankly think that the combination of good handling and the height actually increase the change of getting into accidents because you basically drive a tall SUV even though it handles well you still cannot ignore the center of gravity and still need to be careful.. i heard many X5s and MB mclass vehicles getting into accidents because drivers are overconfident.


Going fast up a hill with limited sight distance is a very common cause of accidents. As the car reaches the top of the hill, it loses grip as its upward momentum reduces the weight on the wheels. Drivers commonly over-correct at this point and lose control.
