Ordered on 2/9/01 ready for delivery on Monday - have to wait tell Friday for factory pick-up. This is our first BMW - hope I am not disapointed. Sales experience was NOT good, went to four local dealers and two long distance before finding one that was worth dealing with (VOB outside DC). Almost bought another M-Class just because of M-B dealership, even though X5 is much better for my needs.
PS They have black/red Z8 that is wonderfull to look at - but wife says she is use to Porsche's and I can not have. I'll continue to work on her.
This form has been very helpful and I apreciate all of the input.
