Neatest - The handling for such a heavy, tall, and physically preposterous vehicle.

Coolest - The sheer arrogance of the X5! Okay, some folks will not appreciate this, but think about how impractical this vehicle really is. It has a positively tiny cargo area for such a big vehicle, it weighs as much as many "full-size" SUVs, it isn't tall but has a high load height, the ground clearance is less than most AWD cars/wagons, etc. If you're driving an X5, you're making a statement that you can afford not to be practical. :-)

Most Under Appreciated - The sound of the 3.0's engine when acclerating. Most big SUVs sound like vacuum cleaners under acceleration, but with the 3.0 you can tell that there is a real engine in there. It's not that loud, but it is a proper revving motor sound versus a sucking noise. I haven't heard the 4.4's engine in the same conditions, but it sounds like BMW has done a great job with it as well.

Cheers,
