Since Vav's X5 is new I am wondering if he has checked the tire pressure. I won't be surprise if he finds the pressure to be above 4-5psi the recommended.

Higher tire pressure will make the ride bumpy as well. (Mine was on the higher side when delivered and made a difference when I delfated to 32 psi)

My friend's brand new Jetta VR6 GLX was inflated to 38. Recommended is 30 I think.

BTW, Alpina, I drove the new 1.8T and the new V6 Passat. They added another 20 HP to the 1.8T and I was really impressed. New interior too. The same day I drove a neon (no joke) and tomorrow we go for an MDX drive. (My friend is looking for another car since his lease is up. BMW is too expensive for him + he likes the 7 seating in the MDX and he then gets to trade in his previa van + return his Prelude). Let's see what he buys.
