when i was deciding on my X5 i drove both back to back and found little differance. the sport was firmer, but did there where not "aftershocks" when i hit a bump. the non sport did not ride better, but experienced "aftershocks"
Since we are a growing family those of us who are geographically close should meet every once in a while. That was the case with VaV and I this morning.

We drove each others X (his being a non SP) whereby I was rather surprised at how little difference there really is compared to my SP. Sure it is softer but not by much. The steering requires less effort but that was expected. Now I have concrete proof (for myself) of the differences in terms of ride comfort.

So, for those interested in meeting, there is a Tech Session at Hunterdon BMW this Wednesday at 7pm for the CCA. You don't have to be member to show up but maybe it'll give you a reason to join (if not for the free food alone!). There are always bimmer.org people there + its nice to know who we've been talking to on the boards for all this time.
