BMW surprised the automotive world with two more entries in the "X" line. Dieter M. Nation, chief designer, says that BMW's extensive use of CAD shortens the development time considerably. BMW has stated that it will match any and all other SUV designs to provide customers with the ability to combine BMW engineering with the butt-ugly looks that so many Americans apparently prefer. Americans, including a diploma-less Dunkin Donuts employee, a group of fat-ass rednecks at a NASCAR race, and a gaggle of soccer moms all expressed their approval of the new models.
