The Manual says...
The manual says alot of things, most of them because BMW does not want to be sued by some lawyer who says they were no specs on...
If you want to treat the owner's manual as the Holy Bible thats your choice. When you go out to check that your wheels are torqued to spec I will go look for Noah's Ark, and have fun doing it.
