Although I can take a joke, the correct torque is important to me and anyone else concerned with safety and brake disk life.

If you read my posts, you'll know that I do quite a bit of track time (these days in race cars) where the car is taken to its limit. If you have ever done or plan on doing track time, you too will learn the importance of the correct torque.

Finally my beef with Sears is that like most general auto repair facilities, they impact wrench the $hit out of the bolts and....well Digi is explained it well so I'll not say anything else.

BTW, I never plan on tracking the X.

Tell him not to drive his X5 until he re-torques his wheels...could be a very dangerous situation.
