My wheels are torqued to spec and NTB got out the torque wrench without me asking when I had a tire repaired due to a puncture. You may save money at Sears in the short run, but you'll pay in the long run. Do you service all of your vehicles with intuitive BS, or just your X5? I do not know of any real mechanics, including my brother, that do not have and use torque wrenches for almost every repair - particularly suspension, engine, transmission, wheels, and brakes.
