All I have to say is that the sport package on any BMW is well worth it's price. This is not an opinion, it's FACT: The sport package reduces ride comfort by barely a HAIR and elevates handling agility and composure tremendously.

Get it! Especially if you're considering a 3.0, because the SP comes with the rear air springs, which probably are helping in making the difference so minute in terms of comfort. For the 4.4 however, air springs come with the std. suspension/wheels, so maybe the difference will be a bit more.

I am just blown away by how good a compromise the engineers provide you with their SP. Better than any other manufacturer can hope for. Amazing.

Just get it and you'll thank yourself. Well worth the money, especially with the superior looks.

I am considering buying the X5, but haven't been able to decide if I should get the sport package. I think the decision comes down to the wheels. I think the larger wheels
that come with sports package give the car a nicer look; however, for driving in the city (NYC) and snow the dealer recommended going with the "smaller" (no sports package) because it would give added comfort and better handling.

I would appreciate any input on this. Thanks in advance.
