I'm glad that you posted what products you use for your X5. When we got our X5 (White 4.4 Sport), I went to Auto Zone and bought Meguiars professional car glaze and wax, Mother's Back to Black for plastic trim, and Meguiars protecting tire gel (it's purple and smells like grapes!). Here's the kicker -- I use Murphy's Oil Soap to wash the car!! I have used it on my/our (family) cars for years and it works very well. It basically waxes the car every time and is very mild.
