Same resolution as the 505 but much much smaller body. This is probably one of the smallest 3.3 meg pixel digital cam on the market. Put it in your pocket and you wouldn't know it's there. Though it has a sony lens and not a Carl Zeiss, the pictures are outstanding. With any of the Nikon or the Sony you cant go wrong.

Alpina, if you are looking into Zoom cameras with digital capability, have a look at the Olympus C2100UZ. It has one of the best pictures in the sub 3 meg pixel and awesome zoom.

I am waiting for the price for this to go down and this is going to be my cam for taking long shots.
