BMW has finally decided to give into the demands that they provide true utility in the X5 range. Unknown to the rest of the world, BMW was working on an X5-derived Discovery replacement when they sold Land Rover to Ford. The test-mule body stampings needed little modification to merge the Discovery roof with the rest of the X5. Third row jumpseats provide the 7 passenger seating, and the new adjustable suspension provides the extra ground clearance. It's Discovery utility without the Discovery's poor on-road performance.
April Fools! Espo, no offense meant, I just couldn't resist. :-)
