I got the hitch and a swing-away 2-bike carrier installed after I got my X5. Got the Draw-Tite hitch, which is the same one BMW sells, and a BVG swing-away model. Great system.

Is the Hitch-Mounted Bike Carrier from BMW accessories the only way to go?
