Personal preference but very noticeable difference. Tested ML and 3.0 sport on same day and didn't like either one too much. sport was very stiff, worse than ML. Went back to BMW to test wagon and ended up also driving 4.4 nonsport. both my wife and i agreed was night and day difference, much smoother ride (which at least we attributed to nonsport vs. faster engine, which we also appreciated). Though i like the way sports looks more (black inside roof and black trim around windows), except for sport stearing wheel, which is not my favorite.

Ended up buying 4.4 non sport that day. again, try both, but will be personal
