ahhhhh i didnt know that. i thought the 4.6 was taking the 4.4's place......so if a 4.4 that im looking at is costing around 58k then the 4.6 will be quite a bit more. there is a ML55 in Black at my local dealer right now not marked up. I think the sticker is 64k...very nice for sure....but i think i'd rather the x5....
I am pretty sure that is NOT correct. The 4.6 is a "special edition" - the equivalent of the ML55 AMG. The 4.4 will remain in the product line. Of course, the 4.6 will cost more than the 4.4 - and I fully expect routine service/parts will cost more as well.

The 4.6 is basically taking the 4.4's place right? So how much or will the price jump up? I'm deciding either to get the 4.4 now or wait for the 4.6.....thanks alot
