I also considered a ML55 about $64 no markup and the X5 4.4. I decided on the X5 4.4 with sport package for several reasons. Mostly the X5 is a BMW through and through whereas the M class interior just leaves me thinking "is this a Benz".
Plus my wife has a ML430 (it feels like a gutless wonder compared to my X5!).
