It is pretty much hidden behind the tint strip. Unless the officer leans down and looks up to the windshield, this shouldn't be a problem. Since you won't get stopped, don't worry about it. It has never been a problem with me. It is a problem if you have obvious wires hanging down, which this installation method does not.
