The other day, I noticed that that center console on the X5 Slides forward. I looked in the manual and could not find any instructions. This option is similiar to the console on the 7 Series, but one moves 1 one position.

Just push the button on the front, the one you use to open the main console and pull forward. This work good for my wife, as she sits ups and this brings the console comfortably closer.

Maybe I am pointing out the obvious, but thought I would post it anyway.
