radar detectors legal in MD, not in DC or VA...

I think MD & VA ban usage of radar detector while in DC it's illegal to have a radar detector inside the car. So it is legal to have & use V1 in all other states, which mean the cop can't charge you on using V1 but he probably got pretty mad and charge you speeding (if he got radar/laser readings of your speed).
