What information do I need in order to track the progress of my order. And where do I go on line to do so?

You need to go to BMW of NA's website and click on to the owner's site and sign in. You will then need to register, if not done so previously. To track your build progress, you will need a production number from your dealer. The online tracking is only available for NA customers (not sure about Canada)and is ony an approximation, depending on how fast they upgrade the information. It still gives one something to do while anxiously waiting for the car! Reading this bimmer board everyday became another obsession!
BTW, I also have a 3.0 white with tan, SP, auto, climate,xenon, and indash CD. Installed the 6 CD changer myself (not difficult) and wished I had ordered the auto-dimming mirrors and PDC...oh well, still a great car to drive.
