I ordered my 4.4 X5 (silver/gray - great color combo by the way) at the end of April and picked it up yesterday. Was supposed to have Performance Center Delivery, but somebody sent it to the dealer by mistake (only 1/2 hr. from the factory)so I picked it up there rather than having it trucked back to Spartanburg. So far it is all I expected and more. Same engine as the 540i I traded - very nice and soothing rumble under the hood. Anyway, my question - does anyone know how long it takes BMW to assemble an X5 start to finish? Two weeks seemed rather quick, but I am not complaining!
