You could do it yourself, but I would reccommend having the very best, local aftermarket installer of window tinting that I could find do the inastallation. It goes on in a very similiar way as window tint, but if if there are any particles of anything left under there, dust, etc., it really shows through. It was so new at the time (Oct 2000), that no one in the area had ever done anything like that before, and he screwed it up the first time around. The dealer covered the cost of having it done again, and it's better now. Even after the second time, there are a few imperfections in it, but I do still like the overall effectiveness of it.
