didn't see the need for leather seats as the leatherette looks very acceptable...most people think it is leather until told otherwise. Leatherette will also hold up much longer than leather (I have the MB version in my 190) and doesn't need upkeep and conditioning. Only downside, I suppose, is no leather-smell. With the non-premium, the interior trim is a color-coordinated trim which, IMO, looks more European-like in its simplicity. Again, personal preferences. I have read pros and cons by others regarding the light and dark wood...search through the archives. I think the light might not show scratches as much, but then again, my MB190 has dark wood and it looks good.
