Just spent over an hour at BMW dealer trying to get them to install VR ( would have been $400 installed ) but they found there was no wiring at all for VR in my June 2000 build 4.4 . They looked at all the wiring from the back where the blue connector is to the NAV unit.
I have the Nav and BMW 7000 phone installed.
