I am anxious to get the CPT 8000 for my X. I took delivery 2/01 and need to have Cingular service (it's the service that works best in my area). The last time I checked, I was told the parts are not available yet. But, you know those parts guys don't know for sure. Does anyone have an X of the same Vintage (apparantly the exact month it was built is very important) as mine w/ the CPT8000 and Cingular service? What did it all cost? Incidentally, I would not get voice recog. Thanks.


You need to specify whether you have 6 cyl or 8 cyl for 2/01 build date
If 6 cyl - P/N #84 11 0 025 679 695.00
If 8 cyl - P/N #84 11 0 025 680 486.00
Handset is 595.00 - I need you zipcode to give you the correct TDMA phone part number
Add labor to install to above
I recommend the voice activation module - easy to program - you can say name or give phone number that is not in memory
