I test drove a X5 with SP package yesterday. Was impressed with performance and handling. I was extremely let down by the interior. We decided to replace our 1999 LX470 with a 2002 LX470. Sorry the quality just wasn't there for the money.

While there's no hard evidence, but given the time elapsed since the last model change in the LX, you can expect one very soon. Plugging down 65 big ones to drive an out of model year car in 2 years? It's not worth it.
