I have the same as you. The trunk space is the same for all X5's. Since the 18" wheel is wider than the 17" wheel (to accomodate the 255/60 tires), the 18" spare would not fit the trunk space.



I have a '01 4.4 non-sport. I noticed today that the spare is the 17" wheel that comes with the 3.0, not the 18" wheel I have as my regular wheels. Is this normal? What do other people have?
