Garage Floor Painting Experiances? (archive)

OK, Who out there has painted their garage floor and what were your trials or successes? Brands of products used? How long has it lasted? Glossy or does it have a sandy texture? I can’t have the X5 on bare concrete but I’m afraid of peeling products(I'm sure proper preparation is crucial here). I live outside Chicago and it will have to survive our winters with road salt. I don’t mind recoating every couple years but don’t want to have to strip it all off due to peeling. I’ve considered a professional service but can’t justify a couple grand for it so it has to be a DYI project.
