Thanks to all of those who put up with my silly questions about paint fading concerns, Maco fees, and what-have-you.
I purchased my X5 4.4 yesterday for $2500.00 over invoice.

Dealer = BMW of Houston North
Staff was far more receptive than Momentum(smug) and Advantage(dissmisive).

X5 4.4, Mahogony, sand beige
Activity, moonroof, auto mirrors, dark wood, lumbar support, heated rear seats, xenon, nav, and sun protection glass.

I took the advice of many and elected not to get the premium sound in favor of an aftermarket cd changer and sub/amplifier. I will be getting this installed next Saturday.

Again, thanks. You've helped me save a lot of money, and I got a great machine!

Did your dealer include the MACO fee in their invoice amount? How much was the MACO in Houston? And, did your dealer show you a copy of the Vehicle Inquiry Report to confirm the amount of the MACO fee?
