Greg:

My M5 and Roadster have a well painted floor. I also did my friends garage. Mine I did 2 years ago and my friends 2 weeks ago. The floor cleans up just like new.

Some Tips:

1: Get 2 part EPOXY based paint (not the stuff from Walmart labeled Garage Floor Paint). I got mine from LOWES for $30 for about 2 gallons.

2: Clean the floor VERY well! This will prevent the paint from lifting. I used Behr concreat cleaner. Make sure you use a degreaser or corosive that works with your paint. For example the kind I used said do not use Etching cleaners.

3: Buy more paint than you think you will need. Trust me on this one. The fewest re-runs to Lowes DURING your project the better (I know from personal experience) :)

4: Get a long handled paint roller extension.

5: Take your time let the paint dry and apply at least 2 coats.

Hope this helps a bit but it is WELL worth the effort.

Tim in Denver
