The dealer thought mine was the gas cap.... I took it in after three times and it ended up being the thermostat. They have replaced quite a few of them.....Good Luck... !!!


Yesterday, the check engine light came on in my x5. The manual says that I can drive it but I should take it to a dealership soon and that it is most likely an emmissions problem. Today, when I was driving it the turn signals didn't work and the lights wouldn't turn on. After driving it a little bit they returned to normal. Does anyone know why this happened? Is it safe to drive?
