there are significant blind spots. Unless you turn and look, regardless of the mirrors being in the correct position on the X5, you will miss seeing other vehicles. Nonetheless, if there is a problem with the mirrors, BMW should be able to provide a fix within 1 1/2 years of X5 production. Is this mechanism different than other BMWs? If not, why is just the X5 experiencing problems?
