Do you know if Stoneguard is less prone to wrinkles, bubbles, and white spots during install as opposed to Scotchcal? Did you use it? I've done Scotchcal on my 3 Rovers and now the X, with many different positioning formulas and surface cleaning techniques tried on different panels. Problems and flaws aside, I'm reluctant to try an unfamiliar product, as the 3M does hang in there.
