yes..i have via email....I'm still trying to get ahold of them.....I prefer email because all is then in writing .... both sides of the conversation. But I guess if they still do not respond to my email request I will be forced to use the telephone.

My first BMW was a 98 528i..aspen silver with an Auborgine interior..purple and black...my father in law is now driving the car...it had a small oil leak where everyone was telling me it was the cosmoline that they coat everything with during shipment from germany....but...after a brief conversation with the then current service manager...the put the car on the lift and what do they find...a leaky power steering seal on the power steering pump...they fixed it immediately...now thats what I call service...

Now it seems as though I have to fight with everyone to get them to look into a problem..forget about getting them to fix it. Maybe its just the X5 3.0 is too new...not all of the bugs worked out...???

Anyway..thanks for replying...I might have to resort to the use of a telephone and request that they record the conversation and send me a types transcript of the conversation as well....hope this does not ruffle their feathers too much.

Man...it would be great if they made an all-wheel drive 740i...I would get two of them...one for night and one for day....ha ha..

Take care.
