is the superior digital technology. Actually, GSM, which is not widely available in the U.S. but is almost universally available in most of Europe, the Far East, Latin America, South America, etc., is superior to all others many times over, but territorial disputes and the inability to agree on a system-wide, industry standard in this country, have resulted in inferior, varied systems scattered through the country, with GSM only being in its infancy.
