hello - looks like i get my 2001 4.4 w/- sport package soon (it's in, but i am getting them to tint the drivers/passenger windows).

i did a search re: the proctective coating stuff (stoneguard?) & did really get a feeling as to whether people out here felt it was a good option or not. votes?

p.s. i have a '98 z3 & the paint on that is really bad - it chips easily - the discussion on the z3 board was that it had to do with the paint bmw is forced to use in the u.s. - the german paint is much better because they don't have the same epa-type guidelines.
