PULL HARD, DUDE! Really, I replaced both and upgraded to the Super Plasma Bulbs because I got sick of seeing my beautiful xenons and my PISS YELLOW driving lights!! Anyway, just be brave and pull towards you with a downward motion. The whole assembly will come out. Also, if you are upgrading to Super Plasmas you should apply heat shrink tubing to the end of the terminal the same way as the factory does. I like shrink tube compared electrical tape, especially in high heat areas like this. You don't want "flaming fogs", do you? BTW, Im sure you know already, the bulbs are H3 not H1. Let me know how it goes.
