How to get into X5 Diag mode of NAV? (archive)

I know I saw this here at some time. How do you get into the diag mode screens of the nav? The ones that show speed and other interesting things? They are not available from the normal menu? Also, I have SW 2-1/60. How old is that? What new features in there?
