to waste your money on an SUV (SAV) when you could have gotten a sedan like ride buy buying a sedan or wagon and forgo the problems inherent in a vehicle that can go off road or in snow in the first place. That is one reason I also didn't get the 19" wheels. It was too much sports car and less of the perfect compromise between a sports car and SUV that I think BMW produced in the X5. The X5 doesn't do anything great, but it does do everything well. Those of you with the sports package, don't slam me...you just wanted alittle more sport than I did. It isn't the fastest, best looking, most functional, best handling, etc. It is the safest, and it is very, very fast in the 4.4 trim (no slouch in 3.0), and one of the best handling SUVs out there. I'd say you'd ruin its essential character, and its resale, and void your warranty.
