...if the damage is over $500 the dealer is required to disclose it? I.e., the dealer isn't required to be proactive about informing the consumer if the damage is under $500, but if a problem is found and the customer makes an inquiry, the dealership still isn't allowed to lie about it, even if it is under $500. Proactive notification over $500, no proactive notification under $500, but no lying if asked under $500 either.
