I have CPT 8000 with no NAV....so I have the MID and I have tried leaving a voice mail on purpose and I don't think the MID or the car's computer notifies you.....Should have gotten the NAV for all these "extra features" besides the NAV itself.

Serge, DCX5er, Digi, or any other "phone expert", If you're out of the vehicle (and the phone is left behind in it's cradle) and someone calls and leaves you a voice message, is there any other way of knowing upon your return to the car that one was left, other than opening the armrest, opening the phone, and checking the screen? In other words, is there a dash board notification somewhere (I have the MID)? Also, is there a quick way to call in and check you messages using the wheel to do the dialing? I've been dialing my own phone number, hitting #, hitting my password, then hitting "one, one" or whatever, to hear new messages, old messages, etc. It's a pain because you have to keep toggling between screens to get to whatever key you need to push. Thanks.
