BMW-Mountainbikes ! They´re really good ! (archive)

I bought the bike on saturday, got it even 10% cheaper.
I´m no bike prof and there are surely better bikes, but I liked the design and the tele-lever so I wanted that one.
With the new trade-law here in Germany, we´re now allowed to discuss the price, great! Only 2 minutes of talk, 800 DM less price ! If I´d only could get this discount on the X... ;-)
It´s got even a harder set of springs and a lot of other things included, very complete!
It fit´s even in the back of my SLK, I´m very happy with that fold-mechanism of BMW.
After the purchase, they replaced the springs for me (I´m quite heavy ). After that I packed the bike into my smallest car (SLK) and drove right into the mountains for a "little" testdrive ( 4 hours ).
Let´s say it in simple words:
This bike rocks! I tested 4 other bikes, but this one is perfect for downhilling. Made a new personal record on my favourite course (44 min. 18 sec.) and I´m sure I will get a lot faster soon...
I don´t know a lot about other bikes, but this one has to cary my weight (135 kg) and handels perfect for my taste.
I recommend this bike highly. It´s very well built and folds extremly small.
I´d say you could put it under the seat of an X, lol !

Ah, the weather so perfect today, I think I know, what I will do the rest of the day...
