It was great meeting Trex & son, Alpina (yes, I remember your real name), Lari & better half and TommyX $ better half. Sorry I missed MB-X5, but 95 was a parking lot on Saturday. It took 4 hours to get there, and only 90 minutes to get back.

Alpina, post those pictures of the "project car." I hear it manages to be acheive both "ULEV" status and a "visually perceived" 0-60 in 4.5 secs (sort of).

BTW, I saw the ultimate example of RICE this morning. A MB SL500 -- yes, the real McCoy, I looked up close to verify -- with "Lexus-style" rice lights all around AND Two-layer hubcaps where the outer layer rotates to give the car the appearance of movement even when it is standing still. I am still in shock.
